The role:
We are looking for a suitably qualified professional to join the College as an innovative Head of Library Services who will make a distinctive contribution. You will play a leading and transformative role in developing learning resources for our students, staff, and other users and lead on the delivery of an integrated set of important strategic objectives. You will lead the library, careers, and alumni team in playing an innovative part in our vision and in developing our digital resources to enhance learning and employability.

You will work closely with academic staff and professional support services to identify, plan, and embed best practice, drawing on external expertise and experience. You will make a significant contribution as a core member of Academic Board and Research and Innovation Committee, supporting the development of our research environment for student and staff researchers and developing the research repository. You will look to develop the use of our Special Collections to the benefit of stakeholders and identify opportunities for the development and enhancement of all resources.
You will hold a graduate or postgraduate qualification in library / information management or Chartership (MCLIP). This is a permanent full-time role, with a competitive salary of up to £50,000 alongside a benefits package designed to nurture your wellbeing and personal development. We have an agile approach to working at the College where employees can balance their time between working from home and working in the College.
