The First Campus Team at the University of South Wales, is seeking to appoint a First Campus Adminsitrator to support the First Campus programme. The post holder will provide effective and efficient administrative support for the First Campus University of South Wales delivery team, contributing to the success of the team and it’s associated projects.
First Campus is a HEFCW funded Reaching Wider partnership programme between University of South Wales, Cardiff Metropolitan and Cardiff University.
Based at Pontypridd, the successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual responsible for the provision of general administrative support for the team including processing bookings, managing diaries, servicing meetings, data entry and providing administrative support for events. The successful candidate will deal with a wide range of queries from key widening access groups and will need excellent people skills. Applicants should talk the aforementioned areas in their application, addressing the associated points provided in the duties, responsibilities and person specification.
This is a part-time fixed term post to 31st July 2022* and the post-holder will be expected to work across campuses and partnership HEIs when required. Please note the post-holder may be required to work weekends and evenings on occasions.
*All First Campus posts are fixed term, subject to confirmation of future funding from the funding council. As such, there may be opportunity to extend the contract but this cannot be guaranteed at this time.
