We are seeking an experienced and appropriately qualified mental health practitioner to provide Specialist one to one Mentoring Support to music and drama degree level students with both long-term disabilities, mental health conditions, and short-term emotional difficulties. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, remain calm, think clearly, and act decisively in difficult situations; they will also exhibit a pro-active and ‘can do’ attitude, while adhering to confidentiality legislation. The candidate will have excellent organisational skills, excellent written and spoken communication skills, and excellent IT skills.
Based at Cardiff, and on a remote basis due to Covid-19, this role will provide you with an opportunity to utilise your range of skills as a specialist mental health practitioner.
This is a permanent position that will be full time during the term-time (0.78% FTE).
